The school’s mission is to inspire students and prepare them to become academically successful citizens of integrity who will become lifelong learners and leaders, working collaboratively to positively impact our society and world. Bettis Preparatory Leadership Academy officially opened on August 20, 2018.

Public Notice of Contract Awards

Multipurpose Building Project

Multipurpose Building Project

On December 4, 2025, the Board of Directors of Bettis Preparatory Leadership Academy voted to approve MOA Architecture to serve as the architectural firm for the Multipurpose Building Project.

On February 12, 2026, the Board of Directors voted to award the construction contract for the project to Montgomery Construction Group, LLC.

Both actions were approved through formal board vote following review processes aligned with established procurement procedures. The project is funded through a State Proviso/Ways and Means allocation.
